Drywall Repair & Texturing in Las Vegas, NV
Patches you cannot find once the wall is painted.
What’s included
Almost every wall in the Las Vegas valley carries a sprayed knockdown or orange-peel texture, and that texture is what makes drywall repair here harder than it looks. Filling a hole takes an afternoon. Matching the texture around it is the skill, because a smooth patch in a textured wall catches the light and shows from across the room. We cut out the damage, tape and finish the new board, and texture it to match your wall before any paint goes on.
- Holes, dents, and damaged sections cut out and replaced
- Settlement cracks taped and finished instead of filled
- Knockdown, orange peel, and hand textures matched on repairs
- Whole-wall and whole-room retexturing
- Popcorn ceiling removal, with testing first on older homes
- Smooth level 5 finishes where you want the texture gone
- Garage walls and ceilings, including the fire separation from the house
- Nail pops, cracked corner bead, and seams that have opened up

What it takes to make a repair disappear
Matching the pattern
Knockdown gets sprayed, left to set for a few minutes, then flattened with a wide blade. A matching patch needs the same consistency, set time and blade pressure, feathered into the wall around it so no edge shows.
Knockdown or orange peel
Orange peel is sprayed and left alone. Knockdown is sprayed and flattened. A patch done in the wrong one stays visible after paint, so we identify yours before we mix anything.
A test area first
Walls painted several times over are harder to match. We texture a small test area and let you see it dry before we do the whole repair.
Paint to a break
A patch painted on its own leaves a sheen difference you can see. We paint the wall to a corner or another natural break so the repair and the wall read as one surface.
Cracks that come back
Most wall cracks here come from slight seasonal movement in the soil and the house, and taping them stops the same crack reappearing. If a crack keeps widening, have the structure checked before you pay anyone to patch it, us included.
Garage walls are a fire separation
The building code requires gypsum board on the garage side of the wall between an attached garage and the house, and home inspectors check it. We repair it with the right board and finish it, which matters most when you are about to sell.
Five steps, and the texture match is the one people skip
Protect the room
We cover the floors, move and wrap the furniture, and sheet off the work area. Sanding dust travels, and we would rather catch it at the doorway.
Cut back to sound board
We cut damaged drywall out to a clean edge and add backing where the new piece needs it, instead of filling over something soft.
Tape and finish
We tape the seams, then feather two or three coats of compound wide and sand them flat, letting each coat dry before the next.
Texture to match
We spray or hand-apply the texture to match the wall around the repair, knock it down if your wall is knockdown, and feather it into the surrounding surface.
Prime and paint
New compound needs primer. Then we paint the wall to a natural break so no patch outline shows. If you want the whole room refreshed while we are there, that is our interior painting service.
Drywall repair and texturing in Las Vegas
Can you match my existing wall texture?
Yes. Knockdown and orange peel cover almost every Las Vegas wall, and matching them is most of what we do on a repair. On a wall painted many times over, we do a test area first so you can see the match before we commit.
Do you take on small drywall repairs?
Yes. A single hole, a cracked corner or a few nail pops is normal work for us. For a very small job we will sometimes tell you a handyman is the cheaper hire.
Can you remove a popcorn ceiling?
Yes, and we retexture and paint the ceiling afterward. A ceiling sprayed before about 1980 gets tested before anyone disturbs it, and if it tests positive the removal goes to a licensed abatement contractor.
Can you make textured walls smooth?
Yes. We skim coat every surface, sand it flat and prime it, which is called a level 5 finish. It costs more than repainting, and smooth walls show future cracks more clearly, so many clients smooth only the main living areas.
How long does a drywall repair take?
Most repairs take two or three short visits over a few days. The work itself is quick. Compound and texture have to dry between steps, and the drying sets the schedule.
Do I need a permit for drywall repair?
Not for repairing or retexturing existing walls. Removing a wall, moving plumbing or electrical behind it, or finishing a garage into living space is different, and we tell you which one you have before we price it.
What comes with every drywall repair & texturing job
One contractor, every trade
You hire us, and one contractor runs every trade on the job: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, tile, paint. One written price, one schedule, one person to call when you have a question about any of it.
Licensed in Nevada
Nevada State Contractors Board license #59782, held since 2005. Search the number on the Board’s public database before you hire us, and do the same to anyone else quoting you.
Bonded and insured
Surety bond, general liability insurance and workers compensation on our crews and on every licensed subcontractor we bring onto your property. Certificates on request, sent by the insurer.
Permits in our name
Where the work needs a permit, we pull it in our name and book the inspections. A contractor who asks you to file as an owner-builder is moving the liability onto you.
Changes priced in writing
Anything we find behind a wall gets shown to you, priced, and approved as a written change order before we carry on. Nevada law requires that, and it is also how you avoid an invoice you did not expect.
Finished, then checked
We walk the job with you at the end and stay until your punch list is done rather than ours. We warrant our workmanship, and material warranties pass through to you.
